I'm curious what elements make a good porn domain name. I know this is a bit risque, but obtaining / choosing a good name for this indudtry has eluded me.

Traffic is the only thing.

It also qualifies into targeted, converting and repeat.

The third highest rated site on Sextracker is al4a.com, what do you think that would be appraised at (it's probably worth over $1,000,000).

you guys have no clue here do you?

you say a business on the net with no porn making 30K a month is worth little and you say al4a is worth a mil

here's a clue, PORN is dead on the net

it's all free now NO MONEY

al4a sells cheap banners for revenue, they can't sell them

they probably don't even make enough money to cover their BW

porn industry is down to a 1/6000 conversion ratio

merchants find out you are running porn charges you lose your merchant

feds are gonna crack down soon on porn

stay away from porn it's a worthless business model, not worth the hassels

You are wrong MONEY

Why don't you go for al4a and offer them 100K for their site?
You see they will kindly reject your offer :)

Porn sector will not and never loose the profit...

The big guys in the adult biz really make serious cashes but the little ones may have some problems...

And... The name of your domain does not matter too much unless you are planning to build a paysite

Delilah - I shouldn't bother. People are still getting better than 1:6,000 on exit traffic. There are some sponsors that are shaveing but that's a different problem.

The name makes a difference for type-ins obviously. It also makes a difference if you have a niche site and are getting traffic from search engines. A general name or some extreme name that won't live up to its promise is not as good as a niche specific name like upskirts. Obviously if your surfer isn't looking for upskirts, then he's off though. This is why I end up with so many names.
