OK, so most people have been using gmail for a while now.

I just thought it would be intresting to see how much storage everyone was actually using for there emails.

I am currentley filling up 2% of my 1 gig storage space.

Massive files indeed... my brother and his girlfriend keep in contact by sending video clips (195-280MB each) of their current world travel every single day.
I'm footing their travel expenses and storage space overload is what I get in return.
Well at least they're not sending home made sex videos.

I'm just making the most of Gmail i suppose.

Ahhh, that explains it. I wasn't aware that gmail allowed files larger than 10 megs?

Thats quite impressive for a web based email service.

I wonder how many of the thousands of accounts that were started are still even used.

Well the total is 195-280MB/day sent in separate emails with attachments of 6MB zip files which I have to download, decompress and assemble using movie maker.

I don't know what the maximum size Gmail allows for attachments.
