Hi

I bought a new phone

It is a HTC touch
See http://www.htc.com/product/03-product_htctouch.htm

Lots of fun

Would like to play poker my new phone at pokerstars or partypoker
Can't figure out how to

Would like to use dnforum.com on my new phone

Dnforum is far too wide for easy reading and posting though

Maybe there is some windows mobile 5 or 6 software that resizes web sites for easier reading
I dunno

I am carrying the Helio Ocean. Incredible phone. And one hell of a mini computer.

You bring up some good points regarding websites. This is not intended to be about .mobi but it pertains to this.

The Helio autodetects and makes every website into a viewable format to fit the screen. But, that does not mean the site works. DNF is veiwable as a stripped down version. I am unable to log in. I can view things, but still a pain.

I have the option of going HTML which I do. Then, it is the full blown site. Very difficult to navigate plus as you can imagine, a ton of scrolling. This is where a .mobi compliant site comes in.

View NamePros.mobi. Set up as a .mobi site. Fully functional. View NamePros.com and you will see the difference. Same with BMW.com and BMW.mobi.

The iPhone is no different. It will take the entire site and miniaturize it which looks cools. It is easier to expand and collapse which is in essence scrolling with your fingers but still requires hunting and pecking.

Not to mention load times. A .com site on any phone tends to take a longer load time than a .mobi. This is true also with the faster 3G network.

As for games, all that stuff is preloaded but I am not into the gaming.

Overall it is an incredible phone, incredible clarity, and pictures and images are bright and crisp. It is very easy to work and fantastic plans. I am exceptionally happy and satified with this item.

Now, back to your regularly scheduled programs.

HTC TyTN - works for most web sites, but DNF is a bit too much for the screen.

Nokia N73. The Opera browser seems to be fine with DNF. However slowdown is an issue with all the traffic and content here

iphone: no games, full funtion dnf site. It's a bit slow unless you are at a WAP, then it's ok. The screen sizing and positioning takes some time to master, but once you'e done this, it's a breeze!

Samsung Sync, I am not one to surf on a phone much except for the occasional news, email, and weather.

I know Rajat (scorpio) also carries HTC Touch. I have a Treo. No, I can't play poker on it and even if I could, I wouldn't since I don't know how to. :p And yes, I read DNf on it all the time.

But having a tough time deciding which would be a better deal next -- Nokia e90 or an iPhone.

Samsung SGH-D807

Use it to make calls, check voicemail, text, and sometimes use the camera...No games or surfing, I get that at home ;)
