A respected member of DNF owes me $ 50.00 for many months.

He ignores all of the emails and PM's I have sent him. And, I have even
offered to buy some of his names minus the $ 50. when he offered his names
for sale. However, he just ignores my offers.

Plus, I believe he owes some others here.

I don't want to embarrass him over $ 50. So, what should I do?

I would agree. Actnow - You are a respected member yourself, so there is no reason you should have to put up with that or fail to alert other members so they won't have the same problems.

I would PM him/her one more time and tell them they are leaving you no choice but to post their identity unless they either pay you or give you the credit you are owed (of course if the member you are reffering to is me, please ignore these comments :-D )

Heh.. I agree with Duke... if you have given them ample opportunity then it's their choice if they want to ruin their reputation.

i agree guys.

Some of you guys will know that i had a few problems last year when i returned from Germany. I'd arranged deals and could not complete them for personal reasons. I felt really s**t about it but there was nothing i could do. Things are back on track now and i've had some good deals with you guys recently.

We should all know about this person as no one wants to deal with people like that.

:[

Dean

p.s. To try and make up for last year i gave my car away for DNF$ :-D

Seems like you've been very patient, and tried everything. I agree, you should post what happened, for the benefit of others.

If you want to PM me the name, I can try to get the money for you. His forum membership may be at stake.

With so many great and honest folks here, one bad apple should never spoil the bushel.

Act Now,

Giant's suggestion is pretty decent. Leverage could be applied privately by a third party with some juice around here. It might just work and if you get your money, no harm done. If not, he's out!

Plus....... just be SURE you have the facts straight, and documentation to back you up!

Outting a true deadbeat is a service to us all.... but falsely accusing can destroy a reputation faster than greased lighting on an icy hill! Just ask Kobe!

I would think that even if this person does come around to paying up they should still be outed...either way we should know who the person is and be able to choose for ourselves if we wish to have dealings with them.
