Whats Expired Traffic Worth?

Just curious for those of you who buy expired domains with traffic: Whats the value of traffic to you? Is a site with 10 visitors a day worth money? What about larger sites that get 5000 visitors a day? How much could a site with that sort of traffic be worth? (strictly speaking if you are not planning to develop that site out, but just using it as a 404 page that generates income)

10 targetted visitors could be worth plenty while 5000 untargetted are worth nothing.
