I've just downloaded Microsoft update files and rebooted my computer, then I found that something different has happened to my IE browser.
While I type a URL that fails to open, IE redirects me to a whole new site "searchport.com"(actually it is 030.com which claims its domain is for sale) instead of the old MSN "not found" page. Am I affected by some viruses or is it a new service of MSN?
Anyone has experienced the same situation now?

I believe this is the same company I had issues with. So when a page does not reside you used to get the standard IE page not found error where now it goes to searchport.com right?

If this is the case then you need to find the software on your machine that performs this operation and uninstall it. They mask the name so I am sure if you did a search for something relating to searchport you probably will not find anything. Your best bet is to email them daily with annoying emails asking them to tell you where and what the file is.

At least... that is the only way I got a response:D

The software was probably downloaded automatically when you visited some site.

Get a decent browser like Mozilla (www.mozilla.org)... unlike anything from Micro$oft, competing browsers (and email programs) tend to be much less apt to be hijacked by other programs (whether viruses or spyware) that screw around with your system.
