closed whats the value of a .US ?

I've found a 2 word .US domain that gets approxmiately 14,800 impressions per day (Approximately) according to the google AdWords Exact Query Matching.
Its 9 letters. I might register it, but before I do, what is the value of a .US ?

The biggest sale I know of for a .us was the sale of network.us. It sold for around $15,000. Personally I'm a believer of the .us. But merely registering a .us now and hoping to resell it for good money fast, is a waste of time and money. Buy it and keep it for the future. That would be my advice.
