some of my domains don't even show anything even relevant to the keyword I have set, is that only because I am outside of the US?

thanks, ok so from what I can see here in Australia is very different from US traffic. 2 questions then:

(a) So am I to assume then that any traffic outside of the US or domains that have predominantly non US based traffic will not convert at parked because it will be presented with a generic lander.

(b) I have a relatively sensitive LLL domain that I had set the keyword to investment, considering it has been 2 different investment sites in the past and this is generally what the traffic is looking for. To my horror, I find out that US traffic is seeing specific "Trade marked acronym" adverts totally unrelated to my keyword, which is exactly what I didn't want to happen.
Not happy, and I have pulled this name, I don't really want a UDRP on it thank you very much parked.

Let me see if I can explain this. Yahoo has always required all of their partners that have traffic outside of the US to use Yahoo's keywords on the pages not the ones by the partners. This will be finally changing after about 7 years in a few weeks, but in this case we are still using Yahoo's keywords for any traffic that goes to them. In the case of Australia, all of that traffic goes to Yahoo, unless Yahoo considers the domain to a TM or controversial.

Actually, domains in Australia for example convert very well. The difference is that if you have a dedicated hosting domain, where in the US we would show all kinds of dedicated hosting options, in Australia it would be generic hosting keywords. If you were in a country that Yahoo can't monetize then we would send that traffic to our secondary provider where we would have the same thing like we have for US. Today, the only other difference is if you tell me a domain is about insurance in the US I can make it about insurance, in Australia, I tell them it's about insurance, that does not mean they will agree with me and return insurance related terms.

I'm not sure what the sensitive domain is, but in most cases if it was a large company Yahoo would reject it, but since they didn't. If you let me know what it is, I can "fix" it so you can modify it to make sure it doesn't include sensitive terms.

yes, thanks for your reply, the problem was that the adverts had no relationship at all to the keyword I had set, rather only to the acronym of the domain.
