Surely not registering a name when people advertised for 'Wanted' and then sold it to them?! lol

This is not advisable. But new domainers that just got into this industry might have tried that.

I've ended up selling stuff before I even knew I owned it a couple of times.

In other words, buyers have mailed me more quickly than the confirmation message came through from the relevant drop-catcher telling me I'd got the name.

Quite a refreshing experience. "Congratulations, I'd like to buy domain X." Hmm... didn't know I owned X. [whois lookup] Hurrah, I do!

turned names in matter of minutes, but never great profits, only couple percent. ;) nice mark up, but those days are done, least for me.

Same here. Often I immediately begin marketing the sale of a domain I newly registered.

This happened to me during LR2 but didn't sell any at the time. :)

Fastest turn around was a domain for 2k after a couple of days.
