Where The Market Is Heading?
A few observations....
1) Every possible domain with potential traffic is being registered.
2) Every possible domain that drops with overture obtains high bids.
3) Domain with overture stats or potential traffic are being harvested.
4) People are registering domains testing for traffic then deleting on a massive scale.
5) Every single possible generic domain is being registered as demand for internet sites increase and end-users search for available names.
6) PPC revenue is increasing (I am earning at least 10X what I made last year)
7) New TLDs are becoming increasingly more common in usage
8) Every single TLD that I drop is registered almost immediately.
9) Domain owners are realizing the value of the domains they own.
10) Inquiries to buy new TLDs are increasing in frequency and amounts.
11) Domains without overture are selling at premium prices.
12) Small business is becoming more educated about having a website, the PPC market, and the importance of SEO.
I could probably add a few more points but overall these market trends seems very good for us all. Maybe a few of you could add to this a little and give what are some observations and projections you see moving forward in to the rest of 2005. Overall I expect the summer will really "heat" up. Hopefully the two major domain conferences will be the spark.
