where to get automated news feeder?

i saw many sites clip news from other new sources. i remember that newsclipper does just that. anyone has any recommend? and where to get the news from? please advise. thank you in advance.

I'd be interested in this aswell. I'm sure the BBC (www.bbc.co.uk) must do them though.

There are many sites that allows you to get feeds from, you'll see RSS or XML links.

e.g.
http://news.yahoo.com/rss
http://news.com.com/RSS+feeds+from+CNET+News.com/2009-1090_3-980549.html

RSS is a standard format, perl has a standard library to extract them. There are also other resources in the Yahoo link above. I'd recommend to create your own scripts, so it will better integrate to your sites

I use rss software ($97) that allows you to have/mix/match multiple feeds. Determine cache time of results as well.

www.chicagocubs.cc click on the Baseball news icon at the top and you'll see an example of the yahoo feed with the keyword "baseball"

If you want just one feed I can install one for $15. Server requires one mysql db.
