Just curious what everybody thinks on this subject. Obviously, most names will significantly grow in price in the years to come (if the internet stays as we know it :p), but which names will grow the most?

I personally think it's the GEOs and the ultra premiums. As more people get on the internet (the growth is still about 20-30% a year I think? Correct me if I'm wrong), the demand for specific names will sky rocket. GEO names as well as premium names can apply to the most amount of people, therefore creating the largest demand. Maybe personal names too - definitely.

What do you guys think?

I go along with Geo-domains. Although specific and restrictive, either by nation, region, state, or city, they can be used to create whole relevent categories by sub-domaining, thus creating whole directories of sites from one domain.

Didn't Google have to say something about subdomaining? Can't rank with it well anymore?

What about personal names? Think those will grow??

Rarity is always an important factor. Therefore unique domains will rise in value most.

I think these will grow the most because as more 'outsiders' come into the world of domaining looking to diversify their investment portfolios, these types of domains will be attractive because they can be likened to traditional investments, whereas short domains would be completely new to them and hence less attractive.

Yes, and L-L.com...esp with premium letters...

When a LL.com is going for low xxx,xxx to mid/high xxx,xxx

how can you not value a premium L-L.com at bare minimum low xx,xxx?
