I have researched-hostgator, inmotion, sitecloud, myhosting, justhost and others..

I use ezp.net, they are pretty solid for high traffic vps hosting, Drupal hosting and such.

Goes back to lurking..

I used to have unmanaged VPS at Slicehost (= Rackspace) but I switched to Linode because I experienced too much connection lag.

I use Knownhost for managed VPS and Linode for unmanaged. Both are pretty good.

Knownhost is a bit pricey but for the 5 months I'm with them, I noticed only about 3 hours of down time. My Linode box is located at Fremont, CA and I've been with them for over 2 years. It had several DC issues, each consisting of about 2 hours or so.
