who the **** is topsites-us.com? I am just sick and tired of cleaning my mailbox of their spam! 'Please update your listing' - i never had a listing! They keep sending me this crap for all of my domains. If you know these guys, please tell them to stop spamming. Thanks.

They're notorious spammers. Seems they used to only use DMOZ listings, but now are mining the WHOIS/zone file, for all domain names. Argh.

Can you provide me with their contact info please? Their emails, besides being spam, are misleading. They state false infomration trying to trick me into 'updating' my listing. I would like to contact them and see if this can be resolved without the help of my lawyer.

The new MailWasher Pro with the Content Filtration System backend, I don't even maintain a blacklist any more. New SPAM is marked as such and the few that slip through, I mark for reporting to assist the global good.

Note: The website says it will be released in June/July 2003.

Spam is totally bad, but -- what if they are the ones who sell software to fight Spam? Chicken or the Egg syndrome. I am getting new Spam rollovers every monday or tuesdays now. I guess they take the weekends off. :laugh:

I agree spam is bad but there are all kinds of spam and I don't think it's right to only complain on the email spam. At least once a week I get a post card telling me I am entering my senior years and need to plan for that. I am 21 years old (no where near my senior years). I also get weekly mail from Microsoft. I really think that the laws need to accomodate the electronic mail spam as well as the snail mail spam. The government will never do this though because they are getting their cut from the snail mail and are not for the email. This is wrong and unethical. Both are annoying as hell. There really needs to be a solution.

In this case,I thinkI found one
Concentric.net
Then I write to admin or postamster@ the isp and ask them to stop spamming me, because it is illegal. I copy paste some of the message source.

Here is a snip of the source that leads me to believe that their ISP is concentric.net :
