I need a program (whois check) in visual basic, with active x comp, for my school project
Has someone made something like that?

Maybe someone can help me out.

Well, you could use a php script and have VB query your php script via a winsock control. Make the php script output the info in an easily parsed format. Then you can just use different functions in VB to parse the text.
