How can I add "this domain is for sale" to the whois information for my domains. According to godaddy support I can't do it, however I have seen it on other domains.

Put it instead of your name. Why would you do that though?

GoDaddy has been known to delete domains that do not use correct WHOIS info. Check out the case of FamilyAlbum.com

Couldn't you put it as your company name?

If not register a domain like thisdomainisforsale.com and put in your email as [email protected] and make it redirect all email from that to your mail email address.
