Just checked the WhoIs for several domains we renewed at GoDaddy a short time ago, and was surprised to find that the "Last Updated" dates had been changed to the date of the renewal.
I know the "Last Updated" date will change if you modify any contact info, (which we did not!), but I wasn't aware that it also changes when a domain is renewed. I don't remember noticing that when we've renewed names in the past.
Does this mean that whenever names are renewed at GoDaddy, those renewed domains can't be transferred away from GoDaddy for the next 60 days? Do other registars work the same way?
