What a show' just great. Getting the word out about our fragile planet. Among the 2 billion or so watchers are the future heads of states, scientists, engineers etc. These will be the people that will find alternatives to our present destructive ways.

Congrats to all the performing groups.

I've been watching it off and on all day. Glad to see them getting the true story of global warming out to the masses. Great shows with great performers!

Most people attending live earth just want to see their favorite singer, they little or no interest in global warming, I doubt they even know what it is, The media should take a news cam inside and ask a 100 people what global warming is, that would be great, we need a good laugh. :lol:

It will not be forgot, we will remember and keep telling the truth. To bad but they can't stop it now, they messed up when they called us liars and to shut up.

The problem the real liars got, is that they will be proved to be the real liars. I'm watching it, and it's pretty darn good for sure. And going at it from all views, it would seem to have been very well thought out.

The natural weather cycle has varied for thousands of years, this what I think most people believe is happening.....I myself am undecided on the issue and have not take a position either way, I simply don't think organizing a concert of hypocrites is the way to get out your message, their are better and more effective ways to do this over the long term.

Make people believe Global warming exists and you'll make MILLIONS, mix that with a opportunist like Al Gore and you have a money making machine, Clinton must of taught him well.

It has been proved it's well past anything, that could be natural in anyway shape or form. The gov't has known what was going to happen ( NASA ), and watched it unfold. And please look at al gore's voting record, and you will see he had the same values all the time.

Not one of us want to bring the markets down, we want to use the techs we got now. And make fuels cheaper, and make many new jobs and cut global warming as best we can. No one is saying stopping using fuels, but lets cut them and do what we can. And start moving towards being all green, the USA has always been a leader but not with this.

Just how is these things going to hurt, it can only help with lots of other problems as well. And people that don't under stand these things, only needs to think of why doing what right is wrong for some.

For all of those who question the value of the Live Earth Concerts I have a simple question......

Can you tell me a better way (or any other way for that matter) to call the attention of the global warming issue to two billion people in a 24 hour period and encourage them to make life changes to fight this serious problem that effects us all?
