hi,

I have a few LL.ca and LLL.ca domains how do you know if they are of any value.

Why are they valueable?

They are valuable because they are rare (only 676 LL.ca's, only 17576 LLL.ca's). They're short, easily memorable and they represent hundreds of thousands of company acronyms. Those companies consider those acronyms valuable and wants to pay a substantial amount of money to use the domain.

:)

Only a few thousand LLL.org.uk left now and at ~$9 reg fee, they are a steal.

LLL.org.uk aren't worth it... if they were, those few thousand unregistered names would be taken... I'd stick to .com and .net

can i flip it right away..or do i need to keep in my possession for a limited time?

I'd keep on to them for a while... build up a nice 'folio of them.

.org.uk and .co.uk are two entirely different matters... this isn't 1995, .co.uk has caught on, and as far as I can see, .org.uk is mostly only used by charities... Anyway, in 1995 I wouldn't have said much... I was only 6 ;)

Do your research before making bold statements about a market you appear to know nothing about, despite the fact that you appear to be in London. At 21, you're way behind the times.

A simple Google search backs me up; type in .org.uk, I've gone through 4 pages, all charities... I have a lot to learn still, I know. But I know when something is worth investing in, and when it's not.

I am not British but I am under the impression that .org.uk really means charity most of the time, unlike .org.

Good luck, imo the .ca market is more or less flat. Definitely less liquid than .com anyway.
