Nah, this "IRC" thing is where it's at nowadays. IRC and electronic mail, of course.

yea and IRC... im on the cutting edge of internet communication ya know.. undernet, efnet, and dalnet are the only instant messaging services i need.

long live the 90's...

My ICQ number is in the first half million. Rarely use it anymore. 2-300 emails a day & clients ringing the phone off the hook keep me too busy to be chatting. Oh - and I still use icq 2000

I would use a mutli-functional IM tool which ican use gtalk,msn,skype and icq at all :)

Don't use them ever. They just waste valuable time as everyone tries to chit chat about next to nothing most of the time.

all my personal friends are in msn, so it is a little problem to use msn for business and personal life. Best is to have seperate accounts for them and open a client that supports multiple clients.
