PAYPAL is the method most people use to accept credit cards now b/c

1) No large annual/monthly fees for a merchant account
2) A lot of people use paypal as a form of payment on ebay and already have an account or money in it.
3) You can use a bank account or a credit card to pay
4) Convenience
5) Other reasons

Yes...and paypal don't like europeans. I have 2 credit cards (one of them Gold) but can't open an account with them.

if u need an account in the US with a master card you should check this url , they can open it for you (if you are non us citizen / resident )

I mean they are bragging about accepting different currencies like Euros now.

I'm European sort of,I live in the UK and PayPal works fine,of course I only said sort of because of the currency different (Sterling-euro).I don't see why it shouldn't work for any other european.
