I noticed that some of my emails, come hours late but I think it's known spam urls it's checking out. I also noticed that any 2nd spam email that the same as another, gets canned into the spam right away. It may have some hickups but the spam system works pretty good, all most never do I get good email from the spam box, so it's worth the wait at times I'm sure.

Just a suggestion (this may or may not be the case):

Typically, if you leave that email inbox open in a tab, as new mail comes in, the page refreshes, via ajax.

Sometimes your page may hang and not auto-update, and you must click the inbox link to refresh the inbox at times.

Sometimes you get logged out of the system and you may not realize it because it will appear that you are still logged in.

There is no alert or message that you've been logged out, as a banking website would typically offer.

So if you are expecting some mail, click the inbox link to force it to query.

noo- thats not the case- refreshed many times when waiting for a mail, logged in logged out- everything

as it was sent from my other email so i knew exactly how long this was going, especially when from other email it says its sent and not bounced back

not sure what was this about - but if this is the case of googles "spam filtration", i don't want it

half an hour- just don't do for me- even 5 min

There is freeware email server programs, you can run your own email service with if you want. I tried the pop3 service with google, but I liked the gmail web interface better.
