Why for the most domains with PR the moment they go from pre-order to auction phase and PR drops to 0.
I just had 3 domains that on pre-order were PR5 and now when the auction is running they are PR0?
There haven't been any google PR updates around that time.

Do they regain their PR later?
Are they dropped at any moment, or just renewed to another owner?

maybe the pr was waning, when you observered it

so by the time it went thru the auction >>> 0

however, publishing content on the domain should reverse direction

What do you mean by waning PR?

Also the odd thing is that there hasn't been PR update.
Those domains all had lots of links, really tons.

waning pr = declining page rank

similar to viewing gkw results for a term one day with 10k exacts and viewing it 2 weeks later and the numbers drop to 7k

also, if you don't check where each link is located on the page it originates from....then how do you know the link will ever get clicked or if was removed by the webmaster of that site?

research, goes farther than just looking at a number!

Never buy a domain based on it's page rank if it's about to expire or has expired.
Domains with a page rank have that rank because Google likes what is on said domain
your buying the domain, not the content that caused that domain to rank high!

GKT fluctions like that are explainable, since this number averages the 12 month data, if the search is in decent it's normal the next average that takes more months with less searches to be smaller.

Sudden drop of PR5 to 0 when there hasn't been PR update is completely different thing and that's what makes me wonder...
Those numbers are of live links, links gets deleted all the time, but those numbers are for live links only, or at least ones that have been live since the last crawl.

What makes you think i'm estimating domain by just this number?
I had a question related to this specific number...

Anyway, checking if 500 000 links are live by hand is not an option either :)

@keyword
PR is not about the content as your posts would make people think, it just represents the quantity and quality of links pointing to that domain.....

so nobody has any practical experience with NameJet that might actually relate to my question? :)
