hey that's my listing!

no just kidding, anyhow they are obviously not very intelligent, very very stupid in fact. sometimes i ask them questions just to see how they respond and justify their prices ... their answers are just as funny as their listings.

After seeing the grilled cheese shaped like the Virgin Mary, nothing surprises me with the entire Ebay thing :cheeky:

Ok thanks for your replies :)
So we can thanks these guys, because they register all the crappy names and loose money and run away from the business...
And also they make ebay a crapped place for domain market (remember that you have to go to the 4th page in the .com section, before seing "non-featured" auctions !! lol)

Here's another tell-tale sign of what they are trying to do:

THE RIGHT OFFER COULD CAUSE US TO END THIS AUCTION EARLY!

I think, in their own skewed logic, they think that a high asking price might bring in an offer at 1/10th the price (which is still $5M more than the domains are worth).

Why some people sell domains for millions of $?

Because those persons have great insight, a super domain name, a willing and able buyer, and some wonderful luck on their side.

Why some people LIST crappy domains for millions of $ on Ebay?

Because those persons completely lack the above virtues, qualities and characteristics. heh

I don't think Bill Gates is in the domain business. If he was, he would've owned it :/

It attracts a lot of attention and brings vistors to their actual site. There were thousands of views on the single auction. Of these thousands they probably have a better chance selling any of their domains. It's not likely that they would sell the domain for even a fraction of the asking price but they sure are attracting attention to the auction.

Some people need to learn to think outside of the box.

It's a ploy to draw people such as ourselves to view his auction, as well as domain, thus getting him cheap - bulk traffic. ;)

HI

I think it is to get people to tell other people about it just like you have done in this forum and then they hope the visitors go to their site and buy other domains at a cheaper price..

Just one way people use ebay to get traffic to their websites...

Thanks
