Why was Expiring Domains moved to Platinum section?

I won't be able to post my popular .UK lists anymore...

We should have been consulted about this before it happened.
There isn't even an annoucement, just left to us to find out that it moved when we see it ain't in the normal section.

Sorry, but this REALLY STINKS. We paid for a service and now you are changing the contract 1/4 way through. Earlier today I had to PM an Admin just to VIEW that forum. Soon all the forums will be moved into the Platinum place.

Don't get TOOOOOO gready else it will backfire and this will go from one of the better Domain forums to "You must be Joking"

Well for most of the day I could not even view that forum. PM'd Admin and was told

"After much feedback, this was implemented as a "perk" to the platinum users only"

After I complained to him access was restored. Now as devolution says only Platinum members can start threads in there.

Thin end of the wedge me thinks.

Also, can gold members expect a partial refund for this loss in service?

I am very confused. The front page shows an average of about 300 guests browsing the forums.......none of them can see anything???? Or are there still some free forums?

You haven't lost anything you had before. The section has just been moved. You may not have been able to access all your options in there for a bit as we had to set permissions once it was moved and are just finishing up today.

Please understand there are many tweaks and adjustments taking place - and the end result should be an even better forum.
