I am thinking of opening a 99$ reseller account at WWD! Anyone had any experience with them? Their prices seem low!

I just opened one up about a week or so ago. Haven't had any sales as yet since I'm still working on promoting it.

Regards,
Mike

As my opinion, forget to make money after you open a reseller acount.
But you can use the other services or products using lower price such as hosting, mail account, traffics drive, etc.

Service is good, many times a little bit slow but u can live with that.
There is potential if you pass traffic on site.

Unless you spend lots of time promoting it and somehow manage to get significant traffic going to it you will NOT make more than occasional spare change profit. Quite possible will not make any money or get any orders at all. It is mostly valuable to manage your own portfolio. Many DNF'ers have got WW reseller accounts thru DNF's link.

I've had my WWd for about 6 months now and with so many other resellers out there mine has been used more just to get cheaper names for myself. :-(

I tried WWD with no real problems apart from one:

They do not make it clear before signing up that you cannot transfer in or out .co.uk domains.

In their favour, they did refund my $99 with no problems.

We have been WWD resellers before it was called WWD. We started right before they started that company. We had a deal similar with Godaddy and they moves us over to the WWD and we have been going strong since. We do not advertise our WWD site except on our hosting site and our forum (simple sig links) and we will see maybe 3-4K this year in commissions and that is selling domains at $9.95.

Money can be made but I do not recommend using it just for buying a selling of your own domains.. what's the use of that??

Let me know if you have any questions.
