Willing to do a few logos for free to build up a portfolio

After much screwing around with graphic design, I finally decided I would give it a go doing it for other people.

As I can't go asking for money for the service until I can show what I'm capable of doing, I'd appreciate it if I could get a few requests for logos in exchange for a testimonial.

Please make requests publicly in the thread, will post a link to your new logo as a reply.

I will do up to 6 logos on this basis. May cancel the offer at any time.

Initially... not too impressed. After careful consideration, not too bad for a fifteen minute turnaround. I bet you could do better with more time invested. Again, not too bad.

Simple. but fine. Honest constructive feedback: The price is right, so obviously I would not complain. However, for a paying customer, you should perhaps ask them first about what colors they might have in mind ( I was planning on a blue incidentally), and what the site is to be used for. Cute, but you should not include a slogan.

2) Raeaching out to the world

Logo, to be the same color combinations of the website colors. Dark blue, light blue and green
Can you make the t in Christians look like a cross
ForDating.com in the logo can be in smaller font with different colors than Christians and underneath the word Christians. See and example at ChristianDatingForFree.com Also please add an additional graphic just like in the example.
The size can not be larger than the size of simple logo on the website right now.

Now however you use your creative imagination to create the logo is upto you

Re-sized to fit the approximate size of your current logo. Hope I balanced out the colors correctly to be in keeping with the rest of the site.

It was a challenge to pack it all in to one linear shape. Any attempt to try and stack/re-arrange the text on a hyphenated name would have been a disaster.

The first design is what came to my head initially, but the letter sequence triggered the inspiration to do the second one. I couldn't decide which was better, so I submitted both.

Thanks for the effert.. the color is a bit on the darker side... also i was looking for something smaller and different.. but then i was not so clear with my instructions...
I have added a new logo myself... so wont be needing a new one...
