windows mail setup files

Hi guys, sorry for the odd topic but I've just wasted 5 hours and effed up my new hp envy 15 trying to make windows mail work...

a simple installation files is all i need. Even the name of the file will help. If you have it, please kindly upload it somewhere for me... I need it for windows 7 :(

Isn't it a built in program? Still running XP here, only had to setup a couple 7 systems so far. But check in add/remove programs (now features & programs if I remember right), then look for windows components, or whatever they renamed it. Should be able to install it from there. Might have to uncheck it first to remove it, then check it and re-install it.

I'm sorry but I caved in... after wasting some 8 hours trying to make windows mail work in vain. I decided to move my 20k emails onto windows mail live....

nothing is straight forward, auto migration went belly up, many accounts and folders never moved over... so i had to do everything from scratch... its always been crap that simple things like message rules and signatures had all had to be done again...

also if anyone knows a good plugin maker who can manipulate thunderbird or windows mail live... I'd pay good money to have a group by sender > ordered by dates feature.

last but not least..SOUTH, i looked into your method, did not understand it but do appreciate your time :)
