WinYourDomain.com a three word domain name that has some aging, a live website with forum, a blog, and a domain auction site. It has traffic.

Originally set up to offer my own domains at auction and save the huge fees major auction sites charge for leaving automated software do sales. It is several years old, has a very nice PR, and has traffic. I also had got winyourparking.com to accompany this domain for the obvious but have yet to develop or tie it in. The auction software was just redone and moved from a subdir to the root.

I am asking for what a value might be along with suggestions to make it better, expanded and/or whatever.

Thank you,
Rick

Selling as a turnkey website would seem to be the best option for one like this. Unless there is some solid revenue already and a bunch of members, I'd value it in the mid XXX range for a Flippa or ebay sale. The domain by itself I am just not crazy about, but works with the website and concept you have up. Maybe adding some affiliate feeds from Sedo, Afternic, ebay, creating some good content about buying domains in the aftermarket, etc would maximize revenue. Starting your own domain auction (or any auction site) from scratch is a daunting and high budget endeavor.

OK, guess I was unfair in not giving more facts. The site earns xxx in link sales alone. 150 registered members. I sold one domain myself on it for $46,000 and saved about $9000 in fees if it sold on Sedo. That is actually why I developed this site and even upgraded it recently. I am not sure how many others have sold as I do not get in the middle for a cut so have no idea.

As far as affiliate advertising, well, I don't do that. There is only one affiliate adfarm that works, Google, the rest are the rest and best put to rest. Promoting automated script auctions like Sedo or Afternic has earned me less than 0 in the 8+ years I did anything with them. I would rather advertise my other sites or put links to my DVD sales. Anything else. But then someone else could.
