Wordpress question ad placement like this?

I would like to implement the ad positioning like it is shown here under the image

Is this image [with ad below it] going to appear inside a post?

If yes, I think the easiest way is to manually put your Ad Code inside each post. In that way, you can always arrange it the way you want.

The thing is, you can't easily do this by just editing the theme [as far as I know] because WP displays the post content as a whole:

<?php the_content(); ?>

and you can't insert anything on that.

Your other options are:

* Find-and-replace - find your image code inside the_content() and replace it with image_code+ad_code [using preg_match maybe]
* Create a plugin

Here's a plugin I found that inserts Adsense code below an image in the post, like the example you showed. I haven't tried it so cannot vouch for it, but it's an intriguing idea:
