I've always struggled to get to a weight I am happy with, especially after my daughter was born. I've actually done fairly well but I keep plateauing and can't get down to where I really want to be. I figured it couldn't hurt to join and get different ideas. My biggest problem is I eat healthy and already play soccer in and out of net 3 times a week so it's tough with my schedule to add more. I have to amp it up on top of all the usual stuff to get where I want to be.

My new weekly routine will involve - soccer 2 times a week (one in net one out); rock climbing (new but an awesome workout) , yoga, Ball hockey (this one is new for me), plus I found an 8 week program (3x/wk)..
seems like a lot but I'm at a loss.
Saw a few good programs and routines to add to my schedule. Liking everything so far. I figure I'll follow the basic concept of "confusing" my body for a while and see where it gets me. I want to drop about 5% body fat but it's that last blooming 5%.

If anyone has suggestions on breaking through that last bit I am always open to suggestions :)

Basically you get to a point where you plateau and it's really tough to move up from there...

try this out...you'll be glad you did...I've never had my a$$ kicked so hard in my life...

Get a good bicycle. Seriously, cycling is a wonderful way to get around, see things. It helps breathing, weight falls off and fitness increases hugely. Plus its a great way to rediscover your local area.

BodyBuilding.com has a great forum for questions like this. I don't know if a domain forum is the best place to ask this.

In any event, anytime I'm trying to lose a couple pounds I go on a high protein diet, with lower carbs. A Whey protein supplement works well for this. Protein is low in fat and the body burns more calories digesting it than most foods. Protein also promotes lean muscle mass.

Ultimately your diet is the key. If you eat like crap, you'll likely never get rid of this excess fat no matter how active you are.

My two cents...

Eat your dinner naked in front of the mirror, that would motivate you a lot.
