Acquired this domain last year, around Mar 06 timeframe.

Sentimental value to me as it's the nickname of my high school, the mighty Steubenville, Ohio Big Red.

bigred.net has received 15976 hits since Mar parked with a measley ctr of
% 0.36.

I've tried everything imaginable to acquire some clicks but nothing works. Looking back on archive.org it was a free email service.

Here are the user related searches as shown by namedrive:

Apple Ipod Mp3 Players Accessory 2
"big Red Soda" 6
Big Red Soda 1
Plasma Tv 3
Mp3 Players 5
Gallery Images 1
Lcd Tv 2
Tv 2
Big Red 1
Images

I've tried all variations of keywords to no avail. Any help here would be appreciated.

you are a patient man to have waited over a year with those stats.

I guess you'll want to stay away from chewing gum related keywords.

quick search on google shows lots of 'big red' items, and unrelated, from gum, soda, schools, skiing, companies, etc. hard to target a name like that. I would build your own webpage with items on it of general interest that would appeal to a wide variety of people, add some adsense, and include a google search box. If they hit the page and don't see anything of interest, they might do a search and click on an ad that way. hope you get some other good feedback here.

a page with an article on personals or social networking might pull up some ads of general interest.

that's right, someone had a domain like this before. they put a search box on the page and asked "what are you looking for", and based on the responses was able to greatly improve the targetting.

Hi,

You might want think about trying something related to "Secretariat". His nickname was "big red".

Secretariat won the 1973 Triple Crown of horse racing...and was one of the best racehorses of all time.

Peace,
Dan

That's about the only keyword I haven't tried. I'll give that a go.

Tried Cornell, Nebraska, cornhuskers and many many more.
