i felt silly now about posting this question, but for the record many high profile domainers we all know and some domainer of the year seem fine with it, judging from the fact they openly sell such domains.

Sounds like you know what the "right" thing is, and you're rationalizing why you shouldn't do it. Listen to that small voice of conscience ....

There is karma in business too, HomerJ. Remember that.

What you are really asking for is validation — from forum members — for something you KNOW is inherently wrong.

Thankfully, the only feedback you have received thus far is from randomo, whom I don't know but who clearly knows right from wrong. Kudos to you, R.

Let me add my vote to his.

What you propose is parasitic, and is indicative of the mentality of lesser domain investors who are just looking to make a quick buck off of some else's ignorance of that which we professional domainers already know.

It is just this sort of action that gives all of us a bad name. After all, why should someone else profit by their hard work. It ain't easy being a celeb... just look at what happened to Michael Jackson, Heath Ledger, Elvis, and countless others.

Take the high road, friend. In fact, why not do something good and advise the "celebrities" that they, and their hard fought reputations, are exposed.

Make the right decision...and sleep well.

Then, go out and make an honest buck.

Steve
