I won this domain name

WTCmemorialQuilt.com

This stands for World Trade Center Memorial Quilt.

I wanted this because I could not believe it was dropping.

It has a history of 11 years old (that's surprising) and 436 pages archived and plenty of backlinks.

It is only practical that the site get back up.

I have no desire to monitize it or make money off of this site. I am just interested in getting it back online to be the tribute it was supposed to be.

How is the best way to go about doing this? Obviously there were actual quilts made and on displayed. Anyone want to take this on?

Nice idea for a project. It may be worth registered the .org version as it's a perfect example of where the .org fits the purpose better (if it is really a non-commercial venture.)

Have you seen http://www.wtcquilt.com/ - it's got good search engine presence for the key terms, although it hasn't been updated since 2006 it seems.

Good luck with the project.

Just want to get the previous website back up. But, not even sure of the status of this quilt. As you pointed out, an alternative site has not been updated since 2006. People loosing interest?
