sheesh - - - this guy sure knows how to PUFF
Does anyone remember?
For a fraction of the cost of a Super Bowl ad (Yes, I'll take way less than 3 million. See the red type below) you can have one of the best LLL.COM locations on the web and it will be there day in, day out, 7 days a week, 52 weeks a year, year after year for an eternity and you can OWN it.
I am the original Registrant and the owner of the WVP.COM domain. I used it for a company, Winning Video Productions TM, which I no longer operate. I have had many unsolicited offers over the years and feel that it is now time to let this domain go to someone who can use it to promote a product, service, business or organization.
Say it again, WVP.COM. That's power!
WVP.COM
Seriously, I watched the Super Bowl this year and paid close attention to the commercials. On some, it was hard to tell what was being promoted while others tried to get the viewers to go to some obscure web site that nobody would ever remember. I can't say the advertisers wasted their money but investing in an easy to remember brand like WVP.COM will continue to pay off handsomely long after the the commercials have run, the game is over and the TV's and radios are turned off.
That's branding and that is what this auction is all about. This is prime internet real estate folks. Ten years from now this will probably be a steal at the Buy It Now Price but it can be had for much less now.
Think of the 3 letter brands everyone knows: STP, KFC, KFT, ABC, CBS, IBM, NBC, MSN, BBC, WWF, WTF, NFL, NBA, NHL, MLB, PGA, FOX, COX, UPS, DHL, USA, ADT, CDW, RBS, MTV, etc. etc. These are household words. WVP could easily be the next. It is one of only a few three-letter .com domains available. All the others are registered and most are currently being used.
If you don't want your product, service, company or organization to become a household word, you probably don't want to invest in WVP.COM. It is listed at 21 million because that is as high as it can go here on ebay and this domain is probably worth many times what the other domains that are listed for millions are worth.
History shows that many other quality LLL.COM (LLL = Letter Letter Letter) domains have recently sold for between 40K and 160K and I am willing to sell this domain for a price in that range. I am not in a hurry to sell this domain name so any offers under 40K will automatically be declined and no counter offer will be made. If you are a ready, willing and able buyer, go ahead and make an offer. I will automatically accept $160,000 and will consider any offers between 40K and 160K.
WVP.COM is perfectly suited for what Google's Richard Whitt termed as the coming of "Wi-Fi on steroids" or "Wi-Fi 2.0". That is coming in February of 2009 when all the TV stations have to begin broadcasting in digital which opens up the 700 MHz spectrum for wireless services. You can read more about the coming 700 MHz wireless world in the purple section below but WVP.COM has an infinite number of potential uses. Washington? Web? Wisconsin? Wyoming? West Virginia? World? Windows? Vermont? Video? Virtual? Virtualization? Venture? Visitors? Platform? People? President? Pennsylvania? Petroleum? Poker? Productions? Porn??? The list goes on and on and on.
WVP.COM is easy to say, easy to remember and easy to get to. Like Sunset and Vine, there's only one. As I typed this auction bill, companies were bidding billions of dollars on the FCC 700 MHz Spectrum Auctions which will be available when the broadcast TV networks switch to digital. The winning bidders are going to have to compete with the likes of Sprint, Verizon and AT&T and they will need powerful brands to promote their new wireless products and services. The makers of devices which will work on the new wireless networks are also going to need powerful brands as well. WVP.COM is a perfect fit for products in the wireless, video or virtualization markets as well as publishing, productions and an infinite number of others.
Organizations working on this spectrum include companies which belong to the Open Handset Alliance and the Wireless Innovation Alliance. This includes forward looking companies like Intel, Google, Microsoft, Hewlett-Packard, Dell and many many more. The eight members of the White Spaces Coalition include Google, Microsoft, HP, Dell, Intel, Philips, Earthlink, and Samsung.
Wireless, wireless and more wireless. Wireless is big now but it is going to be HUGE in the near future and WVP.COM is ready!
The letters W, V and P could easily fit many existing products and services and they go hand in hand with many products which are currently being developed in the wireless, video and virtualization fields. WVP.COM can easily be used to promote virtually anything related to "Windows", "Wireless", "World", "Western", "Video", "Visitor", "Vista", "Virtual", "Virtualization", "Platform", "Productions", "Professional", "Publications" and of course "Porn". There are an infinite number of ways to use this domain name and the successful buyer may use it in any way the buyer chooses.
It is a fact, WVP.COM is an extremely powerful brand for whatever it ends up being used for.
You may be a speculator, part of an organization, or a business person who wishes to put this domain to immediate use in promoting a product or service, but this unique and valuable 3 letter dot com domain name is available for the Buy It Now price or an acceptable offer.
Some of the keywords associated with WVP.COM include:

Unless other arrangements are made prior to bidding, payment must be made within 10 days of purchase and can only be made through an escrow transaction at Escrow.com. I will transfer the domain to the successful buyer upon their receiving cleared funds.

On Monday, June 9th, it was announced that members of the Open Patent Alliance which includes Alcatel-Lucent, Cisco, Clearwire, Intel, Samsung Electronics, and Sprint Nextel launched the WiMax Patent Pool. Other leading tech companies are expected to come aboard and OPA stated that it intends to bring a group of six to nine investor companies aboard. No names were mentioned, though the organization did note that its investors would have a "broad geographic representation."
The future is plain to see.... wireless, wireless and more wireless. WVP.COM fits right in with wireless and countless other applications.
