closed www.com .. ???

Well sure this isn't mine.. but i have a question about it..
How exactly did someone register this?

.. and how much if anything do you think it would be worth:

No I don't mean www.www.com
I mean "www.com"

And i don't want an appraisal.. just some info on how that was registered, since i would love to register things like www.org and www.tk etc etc.,

www.com is the same domain as www.www.com. They are identical domains.

just like music.com is the same as www.music.com.

Most people use internet browsers that allow them to remove the www. from the address and still have the site load up.
