Duke, your "humorous" one line appraisals don't do your BrandsPlus.com business any good. FYI

As far as the name Sale-it.com, I would say do to the fact that it has a couple of keywords separted by a hypen: "Sale" & "IT-info Tech" helps it from being totally "aw-ful". IT can stand for many things...

I wouldn't put a price on this one, but if developed, you'd get a lot more for it then just the name itself.

Hope that helps!

Regretfully, I see no re-sale-it or re-sale-IT value either.

I do see the remote connection between Information Technology (IT) and some aspect of IT going on sale but, for a domain name. it seems a bit unatural.

Of course it could be developed to something worthy and I hope it does!

Izopod - you are right - that name blows too! I bought it because a German company has most of the other extensions and I thought they would probably like to get the .com too (there is no trademark on the name). Wasted lottery ticket, so I am stuck with it. The fact that I have more than my share of bad names does not make sale-it.com a good name. If I had submitted val-u.com for appraisal I would expect the same kind of response - "Hey dude - it sucks!" and they would be right.

I think aw-ful was right to the point and helpful to the person asking if that name has any value. I could have said $0 like everyone else, but I think aw-ful conveys the same meaning.

I am sure your post poking fun at me was prompted by your being upset that I thought you made a mistake registering Chiccago.com. No need to have such a thin skin. We have all registered bad names. If you don't want anyone to tell you yours are bad - don't ask for an appraisal.
