I usually just press "Print Scrn" then go into photoshop, create a new image, and paste.

This is embarrassing...

I've had this setup for about a year now...I just "realized" my keyboard has a button to put the computer into sleep mode.. a button for my digital camera, scanner, printer..cd/dvd mp3 player..volume controls.. a mute button and looks like fastforwad type buttons  ..

I just went a pushed each one to see what they do for the first time :)

Thats how much I pay attention at times..

anyways .. I have never had a "print scr" button that has ever worked.. same with this one.. unless it just pastes it to a clipboard without any notification.. right click mouse..nope nothing in clip board..

Actually, I really like XP. I bought a computer last June from Alienware.com, and I haven't had any problems with it. My computer hasn't crashed once!. XP runs great in my opinion. Its by far the best OS I've ever had.

I know with "ALT + Print Scrn" I can take screen captures of whatever I got open, like if I want a screencapture of something in a browser, I do that without getting everything else.

When you try "Print Scrn", do you go into photoshop or another paint program?, or do you try and paste to your desktop?. You can't paste it to your desktop.
