Just read a NYTimes story that some of the top Yahoo executives (including head of their email department, quite possibly their most widely used service) are quitting:

Where does Yahoo go from here? If it goes on like this, Yahoo stock will keep on falling to a point where MSN would be able to make a hostile takeover for much less than the $50 billion it offered. Already many major shareholders are working to change the top administration.
I think the Yahoo management is not thinking pragmatically, but emotionally. Yahoo might be Jerry Yang's baby, but I really don't see the company surviving in their current situation.
Yahoo is pretty much the most (or second most) recongnized brand on the internet, so they have absolutely no problems on the brand recognition front...I would like to see them recover from this slump, but that seems pretty hard, considering how their best employees are deserting them
