The new weekly domain sales report is out at DNJournal.com. After five straight weeks of having a 6-figure .com at the top of our all extension Top 20 Sales Chart, the streak came to an end this week. With a .Org taking the #1 position on our latest leader board and a ccTLD taking the runner-up spot, the highest .com sale was relegated to 3rd place. However, once the .coms got their motor started they lapped the field, piling up 12 of the 20 chart entries. The country codes filled six chart positions with the non .com gTLDs claiming two, including the yearâs 2nd biggest .org sale. One other note today - over the years we have been fortunate to be mentioned in numerous national mainstream publications including the Wall Street Journal, the New York Times and on the front page of USA Today. However, as a former TV guy, I didn't feel like we had really made it until today when our name came up on the national TV game show Who Wants to Be a Millionaire. You can read about that here: http://www.dnjournal.com/archive/lowdown/2012/dailyposts/20120822.htm
