Hi guys, gals. I am getting ready to build a mainstream website, which I am outsourcing and it is going to cost quite a bit. I want to see examples of very good looking, appealing websites to get ideas of frontpage layout, colors etc...., and I thought, what better crowd to ask then DNForum members, who spend much of there non sleeping time scouring the net. Please reply to this post with links to what you think are the best looking (not entirely flash) sites. Your time and links are truly appreciated. Also, if you know of a killer web stie design firm, drop me a line. Several projects coming up. Thanks a miilion, Happy holidays.

How about just looking at PayPal.com, Macromedia.com, Yahoo.com, Aol.com, and other mainstream sites.

What type of site is it going to be? That will really tell you what you will need. Also we might be able to lead you in the right direction on what a good site should look like for the "type" of site you want built.

Yeah very well known , some even trust webhosts just because they are designed by them and most designed by them are anyways (hostrocket is the exception) .

This was a funny site... they spent a lot on design yet fail to mention the most important item: WHERE THE #^*&^$*& IS THE PLACE?

Try "About" >> "How to Get Here". Also "Contact Us" at the bottom has an address.

whatsup.com is pretty nice. I am also looking for inspiration for corporate designs :)
