For Sale yun yee using namewinner?

I had a snap and namewhiner on hmopage.org. I got an email that i was outbid on namewinner then shortly afterwards got an email from namealerts.com that my snap had failed for hmopage.org.

It might have been coicncidence simply because the name was droppng, but has anyway else been out bid but melbourneit / yun yee / greedy &#$@!!! ??

I am getting tired of these *&$^%@ grabbing all my good names and leaving me with the scraps!

I raised a similar issue with Snapnames this weekend and received the following reply - looks like little point in using Snapnames for any .org's you might want for the moment.


Unfortunately this is a real possibility with .org names at this time. We sent a notification by e-mail, and for a couple of months had information posted on our site. It said:

"As of January 25, 2003, central registry supervision of domain names ending in ORG was transferred from VeriSign to Public Interest Registry (PIR). PIR has elected to suspend deletions of expired ORG names for three to four months while it considers deletion policies.

Please be aware that this may affect the timing of the deletion of any non-renewed ORG name, as well as the effectiveness of your back-order subscription. If, when deletions are resumed, our service is not able to acquire deleting ORG names, you of course will be welcome to exchange your subscription for a COM or NET domain name.

We will continue to work with PIR to learn more about their intentions regarding deleting ORG names and will forward information as it is available. If you have questions, please contact our support group at [email protected] or at 1-800-385-4075."

Snapnames has actually been able to obtain several hundred names during this period of non-deletion, but it has certainly been problematic. All .org information is unreliable just now.

I only lost to Yun Yee for ONCE (Pudong.com*). Since then I don't even bother to compete with him. LOL! :laugh:

* For those who invest A LOT in .CN but don't know what Pudong is, your money should better be spent elsewhere.

Yun yee is a royal pain in my ass, he is taking all my good names. I guess he is copying me, is that flattery??!!!

They own many other nice 'geographic' name in Putonghua [PTH] like Beijing.Com and Changjiang.Com.....as PTH is the most common lang. on this planet
