Years ago, on an episode of the popular TV show "How I Met Your Mother", one of the characters referred to a website called CanadianSexActs.org. Some other viewer reg'd that domain before I could, but I got the singular version.
I set up a simple site with funny (and clean!) comments on the names of the various Canadian sex acts that the TV character mentioned. As the stats here show, this site gets 1,000-2,000 unique views per month. Part of that traffic comes from people who type the URL in (incorrectly) whenever that episode is rerun. Part of the traffic comes from people who search on that phrase, or on the names of some of the supposed sex acts mentioned in it (none of which contain any "dirty" words).
The site has links to Amazon pages containing DVDs, books, and other items related to that show. It's made about $22 in the past year, but - given so much steady traffic - someone who knew how to design better web pages could probably increase that figure considerably.
Looking for solid $xxx offers for this traffic-and-revenue domain. BIN is $350. Website is included if you want it.
