If I am paying 5K, 15K, 25K for something to park, you can guarantee it will be a new tractor or truck to use in my business.

Parking is dead. Unless, of course, you cut out the middle man.

Yo, peoples still tryin to figure this internets out. Unless you find the most opt buyer, you'll be digging a little harder. By now, you must have quite a bit of info (this post) to guide your next step.

Hi i have between $10,000 and $20,000 to spend on domains.

Im interested in buying names and reselling them within a short period of time.
Agree with all that say nay. This is the wrong time & market for flipping. Either go with long term, or good earning parked domains.

taxes? :S. I never heard of that before. Is it only for the US?
Most if not all countries have income and/or capital gains tax.

Please do not send me pm's asking me whether im interested in buying your domains.

This thread was opened so i can hear people's views on various domaining tactics.

unsolicitated pm's asking me if im interested in buying a "great domain" which im sure to make a profit on will be ignored.

It's not professional, and its uncalled for.

I might consider buying a few $2000 or $3000 worth domains. I would not go for new registrations.

If tell people you have this much money to spend on domains, of course they will try to "sell" to you.

Where did you Read that Benefit?

I believe 'PM' stands for 'Private Message' not 'Public Message' - or maybe that's just me :S

my advice is to find the diamonds in the rough -- expiring domains & then market your captures to end users. it works for us and many of our PDDW.com subscribers.

another option is to invest in a group effort. there are several groups created where you can have fractional ownership and leverage the combined experience of the group.
