Something is odd about that though...

He went from 5-10-20k all in the same within minutes of each other?

Why would someone do that without waiting for a response?

The domain might have had a reserve on it, so he kept bidding til he hit the reserve?

2u.com sold for 50k+ about 6 months back
Its a good acronym - "To You". But not worth 20k. 8k at max.

I like it, the domain and all but the bidding looks shady IMO. Those are sharp increases with no response.

Maybe the loser of 2u getting a better deal?

Or, might just be the owner or someone shill bidding it up.

Does anyone know if it had a reserve?

Typically incremental increases like that from one bidder would indicate a reserve.

And I think the 50K for 2u.com might have been a damn good price in today's market. I don't recall seeing that one up for sale.

well, 2-u and 4-u are gone in most top extensions (.us might be available for one of them), and it made me get the .ca versions anyway. Seems like '2 U' and '4 U' are commonly used for internet chats, and even some businesses.

2u.com actually sold for $58k back in Feb 07..a bit high back then, but a good price in today's market.

I'm surprised actually. We have premium LLL.coms going for 20k easily, but LN and NL.coms still hardly breach the 20k barrier. Funny, considering that they're the rarest of all names (just 260 of each)

I think LLL and LL go for higher prices because 2 and 3 letter combinations are used more in everyday life. LN and NL aren't used much except for a few combinations (eg: 3D).
