$39,817 for "logoonline.com"? Even logo.com itself at that price would be a surprise.

Looks like a slight bug here - thread title is "$39,817..." but the thread link says "$39,917..." Anyway, just goes to show you that a name is worth whatever someone or some party is willing to pay.

Yeah makes ya sick some sales people pull of if its in fact a legit sale.

No idea why anybody in their right mind would pay that much for it.. unless it magically gets like 10k typeins a day or something we all dont know about :cheeky:

I could see paying that much for logo.com, but you're right about logoonline.com, I wouldn't be surprised if someone could find a number of unregistered names as good as that one.

Yeah it would take about half an hour and some creativity to register something which would work just as well.

Yes, this is all very true. Domains these days are getting more and more valuable. People aren't realizing their actual values until you actually get a serious buyer who needs the domain that you and you end up getting a lot more than what people appraise them for. Domains are worth a lot more to a company in need. Ecspecially if you have exactly what they need.

There are certain venues that utilize suffixes better, such as "online", "direct" etc. Logo.com would sell at least 3 times as much.
