Due to concern from various people that posting this will make godaddy remove the $4.19 pricing, which I completly agree with now that I think about it, I've removed this.

Oh well. That is why I use Moniker. If GD comes around with an amazing deal I will pick up names there and just transfer after the 60 days period is up.

Yeah, it's too bad, I think min price is $6.19 now, which isn't bad.

ICANN is 60 days correct? So 90 days is a GoDaddy policy?

Thanks for the clarification. This doesn't apply to those who received the name before they changed it does it?

I'm pretty sure they wouldn't attempt that. I always cancelled it immediately anyways.

Thanks for the input. Oh well, they are sure to have something else in the future.

You signed up for 1 month I can't see how they could change the terms to 3 months on the ones aleady purchased.....wondering though if those that don't cancel or turn off autorenew would get charged for 3 months after the first months up as the program has changed to a min. of 3 months?? Well if so we'll hear about it soon enough :veryangry

They probably lost a lot of money off this, considering verisign charges $6 per domain to registrars.

I am sure they lose money on all of their promotions. They make their money from all the additional services they offer.

Godaddy is in the lead by quite a bit. What to the bottom numbers represent (0, 500000, 10000000)?

Just proves you are just a number at GoDaddy. I use them, but not as my primary registrar anymore.

if you use the reg. coupons you should save a couple anyway... I never saw domains at godaddy.com for 4.19$ though, usually around 6-7$....
