In the latest issue of Domain Parking news

Parking Dots recently announced that they now pay out a whopping 80% of what Overture pays them. Other services are estimated to pay only 50% or so. They report that their new system will soon be much quicker to set up accounts and domains (meaning that it is probably still pokey right now). Intersearch Group/Walnut Ventures - the company behind Parking Dots - is actively looking to purchase high quality domain portfolios. They also announced a new leasing program.

Parking Dots also unveiled new landing pages. Examples can be seen at

We also reached Matt Bentley of Sedo between conferences for an extensive interview about the state of domain parking. Find out more of what Sedo plans for the future, and read some of Matt's insights into changes taking place in the domain industry.

Read it all in the May 2006 issue of Domain Parking News

80% is a very good rate if that is what they actually pay.

The flaw in the ppc business is that - a company can say they payout
110%. How would you know?

This is good news for all us. Since, the other ppc companies will have to
remain competitive in their payout rate and services offered.

The sample domains seem to work off and on right now. Maybe they are getting some extra traffic...

I didn't run the whole quote from Andrew Keery in the newsletter. Here's how he explained it:

"We view parking as valuable, but basically a commodity service. All of the parking programs are backed by either one of the big two search providers and most offer attractive parking pages, detailed reporting etc.. Therefore, we have priced our program at a fixed 80% revenue share for all, with no catches...no exclusivity, no term commitments, no tiers etc.. Any domainer who signs up with us receives 80% revenue share and access to our full suite of functionality."

They only work with people who have very high quality names or people who have at least 50-100 names.
