This situation gave me the opportunity to write about doing business with young entrepreneurs, in my blog.

Ya, I suppose that's what happened. I paid him $450 via email bank transfer and $100 at gd gift card because I didn't have enough in my bank.

So basically he gave me the gd gift code I gave him to cover for some of the domains he sold.

It was a bulk buy, if that makes anything clearer.

All this fuss about $550 ???? Blimey what a huge waste of time.

You need to conduct the business the same way whether it is $1 or $1,000,000 transaction.

Junk names: $5

Good names: $5,000

Your reputation: Priceless!

Well-said, John.

Now then, it's 10:16am - isn't DNForum supposed to be going into maintenance mode at 10:00am sharp? :D

We are as far as I am concerned.

Just have a little problem to find the Power button from the server.

To some people that is a lot of money. I'd be upset if a $550 deal didn't go though.

Sorry wasnt meaning it that way, more that it seems ridiculous that such a deal could go wrong. I could understand if someone had received $1 million and did a runner but $550 hmm.

$550 can be a lot of money, on either end. :)
