Good take: gan and gaijing are very Chinese; but o and soto are a bit more Japanese, I'd say. LOL! :D

To be honest... It's all japanese.

Gaijing = White Stranger

But it all really means "Look father, a stranger".

Indeed, LOL! and funny, that's almost the only F-word in Taiwanese/Hokkien, in China, they use gan for "work(hard)" or "make efforts", like Da gan the socialism, which means "to make great contribution to the socialism", but in our ears, it's "to f*** the socialism hard".:laugh:

I guess nameslave is right, but only to a certain degree, of course you may reg somrthing like hosting.cn, but never try these pin-yin names, you can easily mix them up with Japanese or Korean, or who knows what.

Did I say anything? :) Anyway, it's .CN we're talking about, right? So it should be fine or it is actually BEST to use pinyin since ALL Chinese know pinyin from their first day in school, and there are signs everywhere with pinyin.

By the way, I guess "kung" comes from Kung Pao Chicken, a famous dish often served in Chinese restaurants OUTSIDE China.
